New upcoming project Organic waste to Energy & Bio-Fuel for automobiles : RENFUEL

Installation & commissioning of modular 5000 cum anaerobic biogas digester for 2000 cum BIO-CNG/CBG/RNG production in first plant of first phase.

Daily 5000 cum biogas production and after purification daily 2000 cum pure compressed CNG/RNG/CBG production for mobility in automobile sector.

Biogas a renewal energy is formed when biodegradable organic waste ferments and is degraded by bacteria under anaerobic controlled conditions & when compressed after removing impurities is called BIO-CNG.

Biogas is a mixture of: ◄ Methane (CH4 - 50% to 70%), ◄ Carbon dioxide (CO2 – 30% to 45%) ◄Minor impurities/contaminants Comprising of gases such as ◄ hydrogen sulphide (H2S – ppm to 3%). ◄ Moisture (H2O).

Feedstock: ■ municipal organic solid waste (MSW), ■ Sugar Press mud, ■ Distillery/ Paper waste effluent spent wash, ■ Human / animal excreta, i.e. cow dung, poultry piggery litter, ■ slaughter house waste, ■ woody biomass, ■ Agriculture waste, Paddy, rice husk, bagasse,■ sewage treatment plants waste, offer massive potential for biogas production.

The government’s ongoing initiatives, such as ■ Make in India, ■ Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and ■ Skill Development.

Government policy and private investment have focused to a great extent on renewable resources such as wind and solar energy. But attention is turning as well to the role that RNG will also play inachieving the critical objectives of a clean energy economy: ■ reducing greenhouse gas emissions, ■ creating thousands of sustainable jobs and ■ increasing the diversity of the domestic energy supply portfolio, thereby enhancing India’s energy security. At its full potential, RNG could well be the most reliable and the most cost-effective renewable energy source.

Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) is the term that is used to describe pipeline-quality bio methane produced from biomass. It is interchangeable with natural gas. It is carbon neutral, extremely versatile and fully compatible with the India’s pipeline infrastructure. It can be used in homes and businesses, in manufacturing and heavy industries, for electricity production and as an alternative fuel for transportation.

Liquefied natural gas (LNG)

We cool natural gas to -162° Celsius (-260° Fahrenheit), turning it into a liquid and reducing its volume by 600 times, which makes it easy and economical to ship to energy-hungry places around the world. We also turn LNG back into gas for distribution to homes and businesses.

LNG for transport

Natural gas could form a bigger part of the transport energy mix as a lower-carbon fuel, alongside developments in vehicle efficiency, biofuels, hydrogen and electric mobility. We will use LNG as a transport fuel for trucks and ships with potential economic and environmental benefits compared to diesel and fuel oil. Other uses include in trains, the mining sector and industrial applications.

But a cloud kitchen lacks the avenues to improve the customer experience as there is no physical contact. So, packaging, web ordering convenience and delivery time become the important parameters to build customer experience. Aggregators like Swiggy and Zomato are giving an immense amount of business to cloud kitchens run on algorithms, which are built on a few parameters like kitchen efficiency and customer experience. If food is liked by customers and the average preparation time is less than 10 minutes for each order, the platform automatically gets more visibility in the app, which results in more orders landing in the kitchen.

With the burst in demand, supply grows abruptly and competition grows to saturate the market. This is a typical maturity curve in any industry with a disruption. Cloud kitchen is in the starting phase of this curve where the abrupt supply of cloud kitchens has started to grow very fast. This will saturate, especially in Tier 1 cities soon as high competition and stricter regulations come into the picture. Food in India requires a lot of hygiene control, which is being overlooked at the moment to cope with the high demand of online ordering. But with maturity, only scalable organized identity will be able to get the pie of ordering in and unorganized players will be limited to a small percentage of the market. The value of running cloud kitchens professionally with hygiene at multi places will be the key to emerge as a long-term winner at the end.

Advantages of using compressed biogas in industry

Renewable Energy Source since it is produced from materials such as sewage and waste products

Non-Polluting and Non-Hazardous to human health. Does not use oxygen for combustion

Manages Waste and its Disposal, which is the cause for decreased soil fertility and water pollution

Manifold Applications with better technological advancements. Biogas is used in producing electricity and also for heating purposes. CNG can be used as vehicle fuel.

Minimal Capital Investment, since it can be set up on a smaller scale. Increases self-sufficiency of farms and utilizes waste material produced by livestock.

Creates Work Opportunities for rural and semi-rural areas. Decentralisation makes access to biogas easy, especially with frequent power outages

Minimizes Greenhouse Effects by utilizing waste in landfills. Biodegradable waste can be utilized by simple technology.
